Welcome to Vantage tuition, where we offer KS1, KS2, and 11+ tuition for children aged 6-11, we have the resources and expertise to help children who need the extra push to get in the top bands, and for children who need a workshop to get up to speed with the core skills. We recommend that your child starts preparing for the 11+ at least a couple of years in advance, this is in order to keep your child stay motivated and not become overwhelmed by an overload of information.

We also offer your child an initial assessment with which to establish their strengths and weaknesses in the following subjects: Maths, English, NVR, and VR. We offer this service free of charge, and have designed it to specifically emulate the difficulty of a real 11+ test. Parents are regularly given feedback on how well their child is doing via our progress sheet system, which is based on a scoring between 1-5, 5 being excellent and 1 needing improvement. The goal behind this is to provide a graphical representation of your child’s success over time in order for you the parent to have a tangible means of viewing their progress. There will also be more detailed comments and feedback provided per subject.

A further point to add is that we at Neeta’s tuition take a structured yet creative approach to learning. There will be homework set and lesson goals to be met, but the work can vary from timed exercises to improve speed, to creating nets and various geometric shapes from card in order to help visualise correct orientation and thus apply that to the questions.
